Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa endorses Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and Friends, assuring the state’s safety for tourism and entertainment ahead of the June 12 event in Akure

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has officially endorsed “Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and Friends,” a premier comedy and music show.

Governor Aiyedatiwa publicly expressed his support when he received Gbenga Adeyinka, widely known as the Grand Comedian of Nigeria (GCON), on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Governor Aiyedatiwa conveyed the state’s enthusiasm to host the highly anticipated event, which is scheduled to take place at the FMT Events Center, Ala Quarters, Akure, on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Throwing his full weight behind the comedy extravaganza, Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted Ondo State as a safe and welcoming haven for tourism and entertainment.

He also pledged to collaborate closely with the organizers to ensure the successful execution of the show.

Ondo State is a safe haven for tourism and entertainment, thereby promising to work with the organisers to reel out a successful show.

The event promises a vibrant mix of musical and comedic performances. Leading the musical repertoire will be the “Sho le” crooner, Sean Tizzle, alongside other talented artists such as Oyomesi, Abbey Awesome, Lekzido, Ruby, Miko Fridan, and JP3PLE2.

The lineup of comedians features a stellar cast including Omobaba, Bash, Erekere, Baba Alariya, Kojah Kage, ATM, Chi Young, General Olak, Dr Spencer, Dr Arotele, MC Stylo, Taichi, Prince Phelar, Jingle, Wisdom the Mimic Guy, Honda Stevo, Odogwu, Iparipate, Emzuma, and Ofak.

According to Gbenga Adeyinka, the Red Carpet for the event is scheduled to begin at 3 PM, with the main show commencing at 4 PM.

Physical tickets can also be purchased at various locations including Madigrazz Lounge (Akure Mall), Iya Saheed Alamala (Isolo Street, Akure), Madison Restaurant (Akure-Owo Road, Alagbaka), and Vintage Royale (Off Airport Road, Oba Ile).
