“I feel like fame is boring,” Osimhen said bluntly. “Sometimes, you want to go outside, you cannot do a lot of things.”
His remarks shed light on the emotional cost of celebrity, particularly for athletes under constant public scrutiny.
Speaking candidly, Osimhen shared a moment many parents can relate to: wanting a quiet, joyful outing with his daughter.
“I remember when I had my daughter and I wanted to take her somewhere with my family in Italy… I couldn’t do much,” he said. “I had to give her to my sister while I took pictures and made videos with fans.”
Despite his stardom, Osimhen finds comfort in the Olusosun area of Lagos, where he grew up. “I like to stay around these people… to escape from my new reality,” he explained.
