NNPCL Fuel Price Reduction

NNPCL fuel price reduction lowers petrol to ₦890 per litre in Abuja, following Dangote Refinery ex-depot price cut and global crude oil trends

NNPCL Fuel Price Reduction has brought relief to motorists in Abuja as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited lowered its premium motor spirit pump price to ₦890 per litre, down from ₦945.

The change took effect on Thursday across NNPCL retail outlets in the Federal Capital Territory, including mega station Danziyal Plaza in Central Area, Wuse Zone 4, Wuse Zone 6, and other branches.

The ₦55 cut marks one of the most notable adjustments in recent weeks.

An NNPCL fuel attendant confirmed, “It was reduced to ₦890 per litre this afternoon, down from ₦945.”

This development comes after MRS Empire Energy also reduced prices to ₦885 and ₦946 per litre, down from ₦910 and ₦955 per litre.

Industry sources link the NNPCL Fuel Price Reduction to Dangote Refinery’s recent ex-depot petrol price cut by ₦30 to ₦820 per litre from ₦850, alongside downward trends in global crude oil prices.
