In a goodwill message, Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel said the win was a testament to the trust reposed in the APC and the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He commended Princess (Dr.) Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji for her “uncommon courage and comportment as a peace-loving leader,” noting that she had shown politics could thrive in an environment free from acrimony.

Daniel pledged his full cooperation as she joins the National Assembly midterm and encouraged her to embrace the responsibilities of her new mandate.

“Your triumph is not only a personal achievement but also a strong signpost of our collective efforts to further unite our great party,” Daniel said.

He also extended appreciation to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for what he described as a “pivotal role” in securing the APC’s victory in the bye-election.

Looking ahead, Daniel urged members of the Remo Federal Constituency to close ranks and forge a united front in tackling the tasks before them.

“With the conclusion of this election, I urge all our compatriots within Remo Federal Constituency to reunite and prepare for the work ahead,” he said.
