Taking to his verified X (formerly Twitter) account shortly after the show’s finale on Sunday, Ossai expressed outrage over Dede finishing as first runner-up, claiming she was “robbed” of the title due to her Delta origin.
According to him, BBNaija organisers were reluctant to crown another contestant from Delta State following Kellyrae’s victory in the previous season.
“Dede was robbed by BBNaija organisers because Delta boy Kellyrae won last year’s season. They didn’t want another Delta to win. She truly deserved the crown, not second place,” Ossai wrote.
He further stated that his support for Dede was based on her exceptional performance, not just her state of origin.
The Dede BBNaija Season 10 controversy has triggered heated discussions online, with fans both defending the winner, Imisi, and questioning the transparency of the voting process.
In a more dramatic twist, Ossai vowed to sue Big Brother Naija, alleging that the final voting results were rigged.
“I’ll be suing Big Brother Naija on behalf of Dede because the voting was rigged. I’m highly disappointed in this season,” he said.
The show’s organisers have not publicly responded to the allegations.
Meanwhile, supporters of Imisi, who emerged as the Season 10 winner, have praised her victory, attributing it to her emotional relatability and strategic gameplay.
Despite the accusations, there is currently no official evidence to support claims that the results were manipulated.
However, the Dede BBNaija Season 10 fallout continues to divide opinions on social media, especially among viewers from southern Nigeria.
