Nnamdi Kanu’s wife blasts IPOB leader in leaked audio, alleging cheating, abuse and emotional trauma in a shocking viral conversation

A yet-to-be-verified leaked audio has surfaced online, allegedly featuring a heated conversation between Nnamdi Kanu’s wife and a senior member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in which she delivers scathing remarks about the detained separatist leader.

In the clip, which has gone viral across social media platforms, the woman identified as Kanu’s wife alternates between Igbo and English as she pours out her frustrations over her marriage and the state of her husband’s affairs.

She accuses Kanu of cheating, emotional abuse and narcissistic behaviour, describing him as a “cunning, mischievous coward” who has caused her immense pain.

“He broke me,” she said in a distressed tone, claiming she once contemplated suicide due to his actions.

According to excerpts from the audio, she alleged that her reputation had been damaged and that her personal charity work had suffered because of his controversies.

In a particularly damning statement, she declared that Kanu would “come out of incarceration with nothing” and accused politicians of distancing themselves from his cause because of his “bad personality and manipulative nature.”

Observers say the recording, if authentic, could further complicate Kanu’s public image and deepen internal divisions within the pro-Biafra movement.

The emotional exchange has generated widespread reactions online, with many questioning the authenticity of the clip while others express concern for the woman’s wellbeing.

As of the time of this report, IPOB has not issued an official statement regarding the leaked conversation.
