Premier League injury list for October 2025 reveals key players ruled out ahead of weekend fixtures. Clubs face major selection headaches

Premier League injury list October 2025 paints a troubling picture as clubs return from the international break, many of them missing key players due to a fresh wave of injuries.

From title contenders like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City, to mid-table teams and relegation battlers, nearly every club has at least one notable absentee.

Several players are dealing with knee, hamstring, and groin issues, forcing managers into difficult selection choices.

The official update released Friday on the Premier League website confirms a lengthy list of injuries.

Some players face weeks on the sidelines, threatening squad depth and momentum at a critical point in the season.

Arsenal are without Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, and Martin Ødegaard, all recovering from knee problems.

Brighton’s injury woes include Solly March, Adam Webster, and Kaoru Mitoma, while Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernández are listed among those unavailable.

Liverpool will be missing Ibrahima Konaté, Jayden Danns and Stefan Bajčetić, while Manchester United’s Lisandro Martínez remains out, compounding their defensive concerns.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and Youri Tielemans are doubtful, Bournemouth are missing three attackers, and Everton have Jarrad Branthwaite ruled out with a hamstring strain.

Tottenham, too, are severely affected with James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma among the sidelined.

The sheer volume of injuries may force managers to field rotated lineups or rely on fringe and youth players.

For clubs juggling European fixtures and domestic duties, this could significantly impact results over the coming weeks.

The full injury list, as updated by the Premier League’s medical reports, includes players from all 20 clubs and is expected to be revised ahead of the weekend fixtures.

The absence of so many first-team stars could shift the balance in key matches and ultimately shape the narrative of the 2025/2026 campaign.
