Italy defender Dauda Idrissa described the experience as “like nothing I’ve ever experienced before,” while USA sensation Cavan Sullivan highlighted the tournament’s unifying spirit. “It feels like a unified tournament, with cultures coming together,” he said, smiling.
Germany coach Marc Meister praised the festival-like atmosphere, calling the complex “a little football town” where players thrive amid high energy.
England coach Neil Ryan also noted the unique global flavour, emphasising the thrill of simultaneous matches and vocal crowds across the venue.

South African supporter Jordan said the event is “electric” and lauded the Fan Zone as “superb,” where families and fans mingle in a lively, safe, and engaging environment.
The Fan Zone features fairground games, music, dance, and workshops, with a special five-a-side pitch for children.
Chilean supporter Pamela shared her delight seeing her son play: “It’s a wonderful experience. Qatar feels very safe. The children play together peacefully.”
Croatia coach Marijan Budimir also praised the event and the city of Doha, noting the positive experience for his family: “The tournament and organisation is perfect. It’s a beautiful vibe.”
