President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima attend the APC national caucus meeting in Abuja, with governors, lawmakers and recent PDP defectors present
The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday held its national caucus meeting in Abuja, with President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in attendance.

The meeting is taking place at the State House, Abuja, and is expected to address key party issues ahead of upcoming political activities.
Also present are past and serving governors from across the federation, former and current national leaders of the party, as well as past and serving federal lawmakers.
Notable attendees include former members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who recently defected to the APC, among them the PDP’s vice-presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Ifeanyi Okowa, and former Senate Presidents Anyim Pius Anyim and Ken Nnamani.
Governors Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Peter Mbah (Enugu), and Douye Diri (Bayelsa), all of whom recently left the PDP for the APC, are also in attendance.
