Five children from the same family have lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Bayelsa State.

The incident occurred along Ibelebiri Community in Ogbia Local Government Area at about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
The children were reportedly travelling in a tricycle when a tanker truck crushed the vehicle.
The victims were identified as Isaiah David, God’s Time David, Favour David, Salvation David, and Testimony David. They died at the scene of the crash.
Their bodies were later evacuated and deposited at St. Pat Mortuary in Otuasega Community for autopsy.
Police authorities have commenced an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
