Chief of Army Staff, Waidi Shaibu, has announced the deployment of additional troops to Benue State to reinforce ongoing operations against bandit attacks, assuring residents of improved security.

During his maiden operational visit to army formations in Makurdi, Shaibu said the visit aimed to evaluate operational preparedness and ensure personnel were well-positioned to address security challenges.
