Prof. Kazeem Oshikoya appointed VC of Federal University of Science and Technology, Lagos, with 20+ years of academic and research experience.
Prof. Kazeem Adeola Oshikoya has been appointed Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Lagos, ushering in a new phase of leadership for the institution.

Oshikoya, an accomplished academic and clinical pharmacologist, brings over two decades of teaching, research, and academic administration experience to the role.
He previously served as an Associate Professor of Paediatric Clinical Pharmacology at Lagos State University College of Medicine, Ikeja, and held the position of Acting Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Therapeutics and Toxicology.
In addition to his teaching and administrative duties, Oshikoya is an Associate Editor of the West African Journal of Pharmacology and Drug Research.
His scholarly output spans more than 80 academic contributions, including nearly 50 peer-reviewed research papers on pharmacovigilance, pharmacoepidemiology, rational medicine use, drug metabolism, and pharmacogenomics.
Oshikoya holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (1996) and a Master of Science in Pharmacology (2000) from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos.
He earned a PhD in Paediatric Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, in 2014 under the supervision of Imti Choonara and Helen Sammons.
His academic excellence has been recognised through multiple scholarships and honours, including the Late Otunba Adeniran Ogunsanya Scholarship, the Lagos State Government Foreign Scholarship, and international bursaries to attend conferences in Turkey, Spain, the Netherlands, and Australia.
Oshikoya is a member of several professional and academic bodies, including the West African Society for Pharmacology, the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, and the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
He is also affiliated with Egbe Jagunmolu Fehintade Akile Ijebu.
