The New Telegraph Saturday Editor, Waheed Bakare, is dead.
Bakare, who was formerly with The Punch before switching to the New Telegraph newspaper, died this evening after a brief illness.
The late Bakare was a regular feature on Television Continental (TVC) Journalists Hangout.
A family source claimed Bakare succumbed to an illness he battled in the last two weeks and would be buried tomorrow according to Muslim rites.
