Obasa Easter message unity emphasises hope, renewal and collective effort as Lagos Speaker urges Nigerians to embrace peace during Easter

In a message released through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dave Agboola, Mr. Obasa described Easter as a powerful reminder of triumph over adversity, noting that the resurrection of Christ symbolises victory over despair and the promise of new beginnings.

He encouraged citizens to draw inspiration from the season to confront national challenges with resilience and collective resolve.

“Easter is a season of hope and renewal. As a nation, we face economic pressures and security concerns, but the resurrection teaches us that no situation is beyond redemption,” Mr. Obasa said.

“Let us roll away the stones of division and despair, and work together for peace, justice, and prosperity.”

The Obasa Easter message unity theme also emphasised the importance of love and compassion among residents, particularly in fostering stronger community ties within Lagos State and beyond.

Mr. Obasa called on citizens to remain steadfast in their faith and committed to national cohesion, stressing that unity remains essential in addressing broader socio-economic and security issues facing the country.

He further prayed that the Easter celebration would bring renewed faith to homes across Nigeria and inspire both leaders and citizens to work towards a more stable and prosperous future.
