Nigerian singer and actor Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has offered a candid insight into his relationship with wife Adesua Etomi, revealing a defining moment that shaped their journey to marriage.

Speaking during an interview with Teju Babyface, Banky W recounted how he became convinced early on that Adesua Etomi was his life partner, even when she did not initially share the same conviction.
He explained that after several unsuccessful attempts to move the relationship forward, he chose to step back emotionally and turn to prayer.
In what he described as a deeply personal decision, he resolved not to raise the matter again unless she arrived at the same conclusion independently.
Banky W said he told God that if the relationship was meant to be, Adesua Etomi would come to recognise it on her own.
That turning point eventually came when she contacted him with a declaration that stunned yet affirmed his long-held belief.
According to Banky W, the moment was calm but powerful, as he had already spent over a year certain of their future together, waiting patiently for her to reach the same clarity.
