Nigerian singer 2Baba sparked reactions online after serenading his wife, Natasha Idibia, during an NDC gathering in Abuja

Legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, stirred conversations online after publicly serenading his wife, Natasha Idibia, during a political event in Abuja.

Natasha Idibia, who represents Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, recently joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress alongside several political figures.

The event featured the presentation of membership cards to new members as the party strengthened its political base ahead of future activities.

A powerful moment at the gathering came when the National Leader of the NDC, Seriake Dickson, invited 2Baba to entertain guests briefly.

In a video circulating online, the award-winning singer appeared in blue jeans and a white top as he performed his 2026 hit song, ‘One Love’, to loud cheers from attendees.

The clip quickly drew reactions across social media, with many users commenting on the singer’s affectionate display towards his wife.

One user identified as @omasdeclutterservices wrote, “Man still dey love dey go.”

Another user, @marvkingin, commented, “This is low-key cringeworthy but in a cute way.”

A third user, @pearlyugo, added, “Ijay say na special number.”
