Barcelona women Champions League title secured after dominant 4-0 victory over Lyon in the final in Oslo
FC Barcelona Femení produced a commanding display to defeat Olympique Lyonnais Féminin 4-0 on Saturday and win the UEFA Women’s Champions League final in Oslo.

The victory secured Barcelona’s fourth European crown in six seasons and marked a powerful return to the top of women’s football after last season’s final defeat to Arsenal Women F.C. in Lisbon.
The Barcelona Women Champions League title triumph was sealed through a devastating second-half performance inspired by Ewa Pajor and Salma Paralluelo.
After a competitive opening half, Ewa Pajor broke the deadlock in the 55th minute when she collected a pass from Patri Guijarro before driving a low left-footed effort beyond Lyon goalkeeper Christiane Endler.
The Poland international doubled Barcelona’s advantage in the 69th minute, calmly finishing from close range after a dangerous delivery from Salma Paralluelo.
Paralluelo later crowned the dominant performance with two late goals of her own.
The Spain winger struck brilliantly from outside the penalty area in the 90th minute before adding a fourth goal in stoppage time after being set up by Pajor.
Lyon had threatened early in the encounter when captain Wendie Renard forced a save from Barcelona goalkeeper Cata Coll before Lindsey Heaps converted the rebound, only for the effort to be ruled out for offside following a VAR review.
Cata Coll also produced several crucial saves to deny Selma Bacha, Vicki Becho and Tabitha Chawinga as Barcelona gradually tightened control of the match.

The Barcelona Women Champions League title victory further underlined the club’s dominance in European women’s football, while Ewa Pajor ended the tournament as the competition’s top scorer with 11 goals, surpassing Alessia Russo.
