The Nigerian music star announced the tracklist on Tuesday through his official X account, @davido, inviting fans to choose the song they are most eager to hear from the new project.
“ORIADÉ The kingdom expands. Featuring musical royalty from top to bottom. Full album out this Friday! CD pre-orders available now. Which track are you most excited to hear first?” Davido wrote.
The Davido Oriadé album features a mix of established African stars and international collaborators, with the singer bringing together a diverse cast of artists across its 13 tracks.
The project opens with “On The Road”, followed by “Amazing Grace”, featuring Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif, and “Julie”.
Other songs on the album include “Constantly” and “I Know Who I Be”, which features Jazzworld and GL Ceejay.
The tracklist continues with “Gimme Dat Ting”, featuring No11, and “B4 B4”, which brings together Mayorkun and Fola.
Davido also includes “Already Falling”, “Tell Everybody”, featuring Leon Thomas, and “Yaya”, featuring French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura.
The final stretch of the album features “Zanzibar”, “Guide” and “My Light”, featuring Nigerian singer Llona.
Davido had previously announced that Oriadé would arrive on July 31, marking his 15th year as a professional recording artist.
The album’s title is derived from the Yoruba words “ori”, meaning destiny, and “adé”, meaning crown. Together, Oriadé translates to “the crowned head”, a title that reflects the singer’s interpretation of his journey and standing within African music.
According to Davido, the project draws inspiration from his musical evolution and represents a return to the energetic African sound that characterised important stages of his career.
The album’s lead single, “I Know Who I Be”, featuring South African producers Jazzwrld and GL Ceejay, was released ahead of the full project, giving listeners an early taste of the sound and direction of the forthcoming album.
The Davido Oriadé album follows the singer’s 2025 project, 5ive, which became a Billboard chart success and further cemented his position as one of Africa’s most commercially influential music stars.
With collaborations spanning Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B and global pop influences, Oriadé is shaping up as another significant chapter in Davido’s long-running career.
The album also arrives at a symbolic point for the singer, who is celebrating 15 years in the music industry.
Its themes of destiny, legacy and musical identity appear to connect the forthcoming project with the journey that has taken him from one of Nigeria’s most recognisable young stars to a global Afrobeats figure.
