A 12-year-old boy, Samuel Iyama, has been reported missing in Lagos, with his family appealing to members of the public for information that could help locate him.
Samuel, who is autistic and has difficulty expressing himself, was reportedly left at home with a caregiver while his mother, Mrs Nkenchor, went to work.
According to the family, when his mother returned home, neither Samuel nor the person who was supposed to be caring for him was there. She was subsequently informed that the boy was missing.
Samuel was reportedly wearing a wine-coloured dress and rubber shoes when he left home.
He was last seen around the Ijaye, Jankara and Millennium axis in Lagos.
The family is urging residents in those areas and surrounding communities to remain vigilant and report any information that could help locate the boy.
Anyone who sees Samuel or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the family immediately on 08035709328.
Given his difficulty with communication, members of the public are particularly encouraged to approach the situation with care and immediately alert the family if they believe they have seen him.
