Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at PodFest Naija 2026 in Victoria Island, Lagos, on September 25, 2026, in a major engagement expected to spotlight storytelling, podcasting and Nigeria’s fast-growing creative economy.

The PodFest Naija 2026 Lagos Deputy Governor Keynote will take place at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, where Dr Hamzat is expected to speak on the intersection of creativity, technology and culture, and how these forces are shaping the future of Lagos as a creative hub in Africa.

“Lagos creates culture that Nigeria and Africa export to the world: music, film, fashion, comedy, art and increasingly storytelling itself are economic assets,” Adefeko said, highlighting the festival’s broader vision.
