The Caledonian Charity Cup will return to Ikoyi Club 1938 on October 30, with 25 teams expected to participate in an 18-hole golf tournament to raise funds for an orphanage in Lagos.
Organised by the Lagos Caledonian Society, the competition will channel its net proceeds to Foster Paradise Homes, a Lagos State-registered orphanage that supports orphans, abandoned children and vulnerable young people.

The tournament celebrates Scotland’s golfing heritage while promoting philanthropy, community engagement and fellowship through sport.
The 25 registered teams will compete under the names of Scottish towns and locations associated with golf, including Milngavie, Gullane, Carnoustie, Dundee, North Berwick, Musselburgh, Dornoch and Blairgowrie.
The competition will adopt a shotgun start format, allowing teams to begin playing simultaneously from different points on the course.
The format is expected to encourage a lively atmosphere while maintaining the tournament’s competitive spirit.
Following the competition, participants and guests will gather at the clubhouse for a luncheon, an awards ceremony and a live auction.
Trophies and prizes will be presented to the winning teams, while the auction will offer guests an additional opportunity to contribute to the fundraising initiative.
The organisers said corporate partners had supported the event, helping facilitate the tournament and advance its charitable objectives.
The Lagos Caledonian Society is working with Concierge Sports, the event manager, to coordinate the competition and ensure that the proceeds support children and young people at Foster Paradise Homes.
