They also expressed appreciation to fans, colleagues, public figures and other well-wishers who supported their family following the death of their father.
In the video, the sisters thanked members of the public for the love shown to Ogogo and his family, describing their message as an opportunity to acknowledge the support they had received.
“You guys loved our daddy so much. This is an appreciation video to tell you people thank you. We are coming to the industry, and we’re here to stay,” they said.
Their announcement signals their intention to establish themselves more firmly in the entertainment industry, with acting and filmmaking among their stated ambitions.
Ogogo was a recognised figure in the Yoruba-language film industry, and his daughters’ decision to pursue careers in the same field could extend the family’s connection to Nollywood.
The sisters’ message also comes amid tributes and expressions of sympathy from members of the entertainment industry following their father’s death.
