The Prime Minister of Ivory Coast, Amadou Gon Coulibaly has been confirmed dead.
He was also the candidate for October’s presidential election.
Per what we gathered, he died on Wednesday, July 8 after he fell it at a ministerial meeting and his death comes after he returned from France a fortnight ago after two months of treating heart ailment.
His death was announced by the Secretary-General to the Ivorian presidency, Patrick Achi announced his death on national television.
In his statement he said;
“I am deeply saddened to announce that Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly, the head of government, left us early this afternoon after taking part in a cabinet meeting.”
