Kunle Soname is a Nigerian politician, entrepreneur, sport enthusiast and the chairman of Bet9ja, a betting website he founded in 2013. He is also the first Nigerian to acquire a European club C.D. Feirense which he bought in 2015.
The Nigerian business man who is also the President of Remo star Football Club finalised the deal which makes him the owner of C.D Feirense on 9th October 2015
through his company TavisstockGlobal Resource Ltd, purchased 70 percent of the club, which plays in the Portuguese second division after they were relegated in 2011.
Currently Feirense are 1st on the league Table with 15 points (5 wins and 1 lose) after Game week 6 and the next two teams on the table are Rio Aves with 13 points and Benfica B with 11 points.
According to most Portuguese pundit Feirense is one of the favorites to get promoted to Liga Bwin and it looked very likely after they beat 2nd place Rio Aves 4-0 last week.
