Again a mysterious fire has reportedly razed down five houses in Kamaganam ward of Yusufari local government area in Yobe state; causing significant distress to the affected victims.
An investigation conducted by DAILY POST revealed that the victims had brought home all their farm produce for storage before the inferno destroyed everything leaving them without means of survival.
It was also learnt that the victims who are still in shock and devastation are yet to receive any assistance from authorities, a development that adds up to their trauma.
They, however, appealed to the authorities concerned to come to their aid by alleviating their sufferings.
Recalled that, recently about 20 potash shops were destroyed by a fire disaster in Gashua town which is few kilometres to Yusufari local government area.
