The Pastor-in-Council Working Committee on Youth Development and Empowerment has announced the appointments of executive members of the 2022 International Youth Convention Committee.
In a release made available to C.C.C Media and signed by H.S.E. Olaolu Omorinde and MSE David Bello, Secretary and President of the Youth Development and Empowerment Committee respectively, the following appointments were announced:

In related development, the Youth Development and Empowerment Committee also made some clarifications regarding International Youth Convention.
“The International Youth Convention is an annual event, which comes up in December every year at the International Conference Centre , Imeko City, Ogun State. It is the gathering of all youth of the church from all over the world for their spiritual and moral development and growth in all manners.
“This year’s convention would hold between Wednesday, December 21st – Friday , December 23rd 2022,” it stated.
The committee also listed as found below the terms of reference.
- To propose a theme for the convention, taking into consideration the convocation theme of Emmanuel 2.0 for this year
- Organize sessions on the pure teaching of celestial tenets; trainings on leadership and mentorship, cultures; trainings on modern technological advancement and entrepreneurship
- To recommend seasoned and sound lecturers and speakers for the sessions
- To ensure adequate flexibility in the programme of events that will include breaks for relaxation
- To come up with a cost- effective budget for the programme this year
- To make proposals on the funding of the convention for this year and subsequently
- To ensure massive mobilization of youths from all parts of the world for the programme within three days
- To ensure seamless execution of the programme of events for the convention
- To submit a comprehensive report, including the financial transactions for the convention as well as recommendations for future editions , to the youth development and empowerment committee of the pastor – in- council, 21days after the convention through the international youth supervisory council.
- To give regular fortnight updates of activities to international youth supervisory council through any of the chairmen and the secretaries.
