A Well Deserved Victory

It is indeed a glorious day for all the citizens, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and friends of Oyo State.

Today, our belief in service, trust, discipline and progress have been validated.

Without much ado, I must first heartily congratulate the star of Oyo, our most dedicated and hardworking governor, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on his resounding victory and re-election as the Executive Governor of Oyo State.

It is indeed sweet victory emanating from four good years of relentless hard work, tenacity, rapid development, and endless hours dedicated to the good people of Oyo State and it’s land.

What you see today is a landslide victory and a testament of a man who attained leadership with the vision of being the servant to the people and not the master of the people.

It is the spiral effect of tangible development and dedication of resources to progress of the people. In four short years, His Excellency, Gov Seyi Makinde touched on every aspect of the life of the common man. He put the masses first, even at the risk of his losing all he had gained politically.

Without a federal might but with vision and foresight, Makinde embarked on a mission to restore the pride of Oyo and he did exactly that.

Our people are blessed to have Seyi Makinde. Our party, the PDP is lucky to have a governor whose re-election is based on works and not thuggery, violence or controversy. The people spoke with one voice.

As I often say, if Makinde can touch so many lives in such a short period of four years, imagine what he would do in another four years.

We, all of us, his knights and soldiers are re-invigorated by such a massive support for our leader. We promise to work even harder with him as he embarks on this new journey because we fully believe in him.

It is indeed the break of another glorious dawn for us in Oyo State. I dare say other governors should visit Oyo to learn from the wisdom, knowledge and political dexterity of Seyi Makinde.

Congratulations once again to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the shining star and pride of Oyo. Our support remains unflinching.

Congratulations to the people of Oyo State.

Congratulations, Nigeria.

Dare Adeleke

Executive Chairman,

Oyo Pacesetters Transport Company
