Little did the spokesperson for the Campaign Council of the President-Elect and Labour Minister of State, Festus Keyamo, know that his innocent post on his vacation abroad would attract investigation into his property by an investigative journalist.

The anonymous twitter handle, @pidomnigeria, whose bio claimed to be investigative journalist and providing credible and reliable info, alleged that the minister bought an expensive property in the United States and asked Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to check in on him.

Recall that Keyamo recently posted a video on his Twitter handle, where he was seen jogging around a porch neighbourhood.

“Thank you Mr. President, ⁦@MBuhari and President-elect ⁦@officialABAT for a well-deserved vacation. Keeping fit in my neighbourhood. May 29th on my mind…” he captioned.

In his own response, 99% OPPRESSED. (@PIDOMNIGERIA) posted a shot of the property Keyamo seemed to have came out from, the market value and claimed it as one of the proceeds of corruption.

“Barrister Festus Keyamo @fkeyamo is a common thief, who the @officialEFCC should investigate & prosecute. He bought this three hundred & two thousand Dollars property in the United States, ($302,080) just 2 years after he was appointed minister of state for Labour.

“Go and verify.

“You see the reason why they are all fighting Peter Obi with all their life? Because Obi will stop all of them from stealing govt money, to acquire properties abroad.

“They rather continue with the old order, where their looting is assured and guaranteed.

“See him in the property,” he wrote.

However, when the poster’s attention was drawn to the fact that the property was acquired on mortgage, @pidomnigeria clapped back.

“You saw mortgage yet you went ahead to feed your fellow 😀,” @HabeebAbolaji17 wrote.

“You be mumu. Just dey play. See how much him pay cash. Id!ot,” the self acclaimed investigative journalist retorted.
