The Nigerian University Games Association, NUGA, has announced that its team representing Nigeria in this year’s World University Games, is being kitted by a Nigerian brand, AG Apparel.

The first contingent of athletes has departed for Chengdu, China where the games are taking place and NUGA said it can’t be more proud of the way the athletes look.

The most intriguing part of the deal with the sports and casual wear brand based in Abuja, is that its creative designs are by a 13yr old Nigerian fashion whiz kid, Abayomi George Adekojo.

AG Apparel is a brand that has taken the Nigerian elite hub by storm and it is donned by the most prestigious citizens, ranging from senators to top corporate players and the who is who in society.

A visitor to any of Nigeria’s Polo, Golf or Tennis grounds will definitely spot an AG Apparel collection.

Adekojo has also excelled in casuals and has received superb acclaim and reviews from fashion buffs all over Nigeria.

Abayomi is a successful business owner at just 13. With the current generated so far, he is definitely a talent to watch out for. He is destined for very great things and the world better be ready!

The inception of the Nigerian University Games Association took place in July 1965, following the successful 1st West African University Games held at the University of Ibadan earlier that same year. The subsequent year, in 1966, the inaugural Nigerian University Games were hosted at the University of Ibadan. NUGA has never looked back ever since.
