A former governorship aspirant and founder of Khairat Animashaun Initiative (KAI), Hon. Khairat Animashaun-Ajiboye, has joined multitude of Lagosians to congratulates Babajide Sanwo-Olu over his re-election as the governor of the state.

In a release made available to Freelanews, while encouraging Sanwo-Olu to finish what he started for the greatness of centre of excellence as the state is known for, Hon. Animashaun-Ajiboye implored the governor to compliment the competence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the latter prepares to take over as the new Nigerian president.

Read full release below.

HON. KHAIRAT ANIMASHAUN-AJIBOYE CONGRATULATES RE-ELECTED GOVERNOR, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, SAYS IT’S TIME TO FINISH THE WORK FOR A RISING GREATER LAGOS AND TO COMPLIMENT THE PROPOSED COMPETENT GOVERNMENT OF ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU.

I wish to personally congratulate you as the winner of the 2023 Governorship Election in Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

On behalf of myself and my team, kindly accept our warm congratulations on your victory and my best wishes for your success as you are re-elected to take up the responsibilities and challenges of your high offices once again. We have worked for this success and we are humbled and grateful to all by your win.

Your re-election has shown that you are a good Servant – Leader that has done well for Lagosians and Lagos residents at large. You have done it before and I strongly believe you will do it better with your new aspiration for all the citizens of Lagos State, irrespective of ethnicity, tribe or religion. You are truly an “Omoluabi”.

I know in this part of the world, good governance with the right-based approach, the one that empowers the citizenry; making them part of decision making, transparency, access to information and all may be hard to find, but you made it all happen in your first term in your exalted office without making a fuss about it.

As a remarkable and diligent public servant, I know you will work endlessly as a unifying Servant-Leader with open mind and listening ears to progressive ideals, and an ability to build bridges across divides in the state. I equally believe that good WOMEN like me will play great role in advancing the cause of our humanity and your unwavering passion for good governance.

Lagos as a smart city has always been lucky to have competent men like you from the legacy of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who are willing and capable of delivering good governance and benefits of such type of city as they relate to people (Lagosians), government, economy, mobility, education, infrastructure, environment and healthcare for good living.

You are a youthful Governor and you don’t see our youths as lazy and you will definitely meet the aspiration expectations of our young Lagosians and residents who have shown strong desire to impact our democratic process in a positive way in this part of the country.

It is my prayer that the Almighty God will help you fulfill the progressive mandate of our great party (All Progressive Party) for good and competent government with the right people to stir the affairs of our great Nation (Nigeria) as proposed by our President-Elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as well as your plans to improve the economy, security, welfare and happiness of all Lagosians in and outside the state.

I have no doubt that Lagos State would be greater if all Lagosians and residents support Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in his new bid to make the state better against all odds.

Once again, congratulations and may God grant you and your deputy governor, Mr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat the wisdom and strength to finish well to deliver your progressive mandate to the good people of Lagos State on this new journey to taking your state to the next level in the federal with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
