The entire list of nominations for the award ceremony’s 2021 edition was just announced by the event’s organizers.
Wizkid and Tems were nominated for ‘Single of the Year,’ ‘Video of the Year,’ ‘The Ashford and Simpson songwriter’s award,’ and ‘Best Collaboration’ for their collaboration song ‘Essence.’
Wizkid was later nominated for ‘Album of the Year’ for his 2020 effort ‘Made In Lagos.’
Tems also bagged a solo nomination in the ‘Best New Artist’.
The Soul Train Music Awards honour the best in African-American culture music and entertainment. Its 2021 edition will air on November 28.
