The APC election report deadline was contained in a notice signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, H.E. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, who instructed all committees to ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of documentation in line with internal electoral guidelines.
According to the directive, the final deadline for submitting results and reports covering governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, and State Assembly primaries has been fixed for Monday, 25 May 2026.
The party further announced that the submission of reports for legislative bye-elections will commence on Saturday, 30 May 2026, signalling the beginning of a separate reporting window for those contests.

The APC election report deadline is part of broader preparations by the ruling party to streamline its internal electoral process ahead of the 2027 general elections, which are expected to be highly competitive across multiple political blocs.
Party officials emphasised that strict adherence to the timetable is essential to maintain order, transparency, and credibility in the nomination process.
Committees have been urged to avoid delays that could disrupt the overall electoral calendar or trigger internal disputes.
