The launch took place at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, with the party’s leadership including National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, Deputy National Chairman (North) Ali Bukar Dalori, and Deputy National Secretary Prof. Abdulkarim A. Kana in attendance.
Prof. Yilwatda described the youth as “the backbone of the party’s future” and tasked the federation with promoting registration, participation, and ownership of the APC at the grassroots level.
“We expect the Nigeria Youth Federation for Tinubu 2027 to take the message of registration and engagement to young people in every community,” he said.
Dalori emphasised the importance of youth engagement for the party’s long-term stability, noting that mobilised and included youths strengthen party unity.
Prof. Kana described the initiative as “timely and strategic,” aligning with the APC’s objective of consolidating its support base ahead of future elections.
The National Coordinator of the federation, Shuaibu Sani, pledged to support the APC from ward to national level, focusing on political education, grassroots mobilisation, and active youth participation in the e-registration process.
“Our mission is to work with the party to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” he stated.
