MultiChoice Nigeria has officially confirmed the return of the Big Brother Naija reality television show for its 11th season, with preparations already underway and auditions expected to begin soon.

The announcement was made on Tuesday via the official Big Brother Naija Instagram page, where organisers teased fans with a brief message announcing the upcoming audition phase.
“Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer? Auditions soon,” the post read, sparking excitement across social media platforms as viewers anticipate another dramatic season.
While the announcement has generated widespread buzz, MultiChoice Nigeria has yet to release key details such as audition dates, venues, or the official premiere timeline for the new season.
It also remains unclear whether the audition process will follow a physical-only format, remain fully virtual, or adopt a hybrid system combining both approaches.
In previous seasons, organisers have experimented with different audition models.
The 2025 edition adopted a hybrid format, featuring online submissions followed by physical screenings in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.
The online audition system, first introduced in 2019, was designed to expand accessibility for aspiring contestants who could not attend physical casting locations.
The 2025 season was won by Opeyemi ‘Imisi’ Ayanwale, who secured the grand prize after outlasting 28 other housemates in a highly competitive finale.
