Benin child river tragedy under investigation as woman allegedly throws 5-year-old child into river following claims by a spiritual seer

A woman in Benin City, Edo State, has allegedly thrown her five-year-old child into a river following claims that a spiritual seer advised her to “get rid” of the child, whom she described as being unable to walk since birth.
