Bimbo Ademoye slams critics over giveaway backlash, warning against disrespect as she defends her generosity to fans

Bimbo Ademoye, a Nollywood actress, has strongly rebuked critics over her ongoing giveaways, warning against disrespect amid mounting backlash from some social media users.

The actress, who spoke via her Instagram page, said several individuals had sent messages accusing her of staging fake giveaways while also hurling insults at her.

Bimbo Ademoye stated that she does not tolerate disrespect in any form, stressing that her generosity should not be met with hostility.

She explained that while many fans feel entitled due to their support, it is impossible for her to meet the financial expectations of millions of followers.

The actress noted that she has quietly given out substantial sums in the past without publicising the gestures, describing her current giveaways as a way to give back and engage her audience.

She cautioned critics to be mindful of their conduct, warning that crossing the line could attract personal confrontation.

In a firm tone, Bimbo Ademoye dismissed allegations of favouritism, insisting that she deliberately excludes friends and family from participating to ensure fairness.

Despite the backlash, the actress continued her giveaway campaign, announcing that a user identified as @datsweetclassybae had won N200,000 and a Winston Leather bag after correctly answering a previous question.

She urged the winner to send details to claim the prize and immediately introduced another round, offering N100,000 and a bag from @gbemisokeshoes.

Bimbo Ademoye challenged participants to identify the designer who inspired a braided tie featured in her outfit, while also spotting a key difference in the look, emphasising that it was neither the hair nor the bag.

The episode reflects the growing tension between public figures and online audiences, especially in a difficult economic climate where expectations often run high.

Bimbo Ademoye had previously shared a troubling experience involving a former friend who allegedly harassed her online after their relationship broke down.
