The development was confirmed following his release from the facility, where he had been remanded over an online dispute.

Speaking shortly after his release, Blord expressed gratitude to supporters and acknowledged the role played by activist Omoyele Sowore and his team in securing his freedom.

“I’m out, I’m good, and I’m going home. I want to say thank you to Sowore’s team. I want to say thank you to everybody that has been fighting for me,” Blord said in a video that quickly gained traction online.

Blord added that he appreciated individuals who contributed their time, effort, and resources, offering prayers for their continued support and goodwill.

The Blord Kuje prison release has drawn significant attention on social media, with many users reacting to his remarks and the circumstances surrounding his detention.

Blord was earlier remanded following a public online feud with controversial social commentator VeryDarkMan.

Observers note that the case highlights the growing intersection between digital disputes and legal consequences in Nigeria’s evolving media space.

Despite the controversy, Blord’s public appreciation of supporters reflects a moment of relief and renewed optimism after his release.
