This impressive achievement reflects the system’s transformational role in streamlining customs operations and accelerating cargo clearance processes.

According to the command’s Public Relations Officer, Oscar Ivara, the milestone marks a shift in how technology is shaping the future of customs administration in Nigeria.

The integration of the B’Odogwu system has brought unprecedented transparency, real-time processing, and simplified access to payment platforms.

Customs Area Controller Frank Onyeka emphasized that the platform has drastically reduced delays and bottlenecks.

“The B’Odogwu system has drastically improved the ability of licensed customs agents and stakeholders to access payment platforms and complete cargo clearance in real-time,” he said.

Beyond revenue, Onyeka highlighted the game-changing impact the system has had in modernising port operations.

“This isn’t just about the numbers — it’s about the platform’s role in revolutionising our port operations and reinforcing collaborative engagement with all stakeholders.”

The system’s unified digital interface enables faster processing, accurate valuation, and improved monitoring of cargo activities, delivering significant value to the entire supply chain.

Frank Onyeka also reaffirmed the command’s dedication to trade facilitation and national development, noting that a coordinated, tech-driven approach ensures smooth, cost-effective, and compliant cargo movement for port users.
