Rotary District 206 leaders have announced that the District Team Learning Seminar, known as the BTLF 206 Seminar, will hold in Lagos on February 20 and 21, 2026, positioning the event as a decisive platform for leadership development, strategic alignment and district-wide renewal.

The seminar is scheduled to take place at Hockey Diverse on the Lake Expressway, Lagos, and is expected to draw Rotarians from across the district for two days of intensive learning, collaboration and capacity building.

District officials described the BTLF 206 Seminar as a central engine of leadership preparation within Rotary, designed to equip incoming and serving officers with the skills, vision and confidence required to lead clubs and committees effectively in the coming year.

According to the organisers, the programme will focus on sharpening leadership competencies, strengthening governance structures and fostering unity across the Rotary family.

Sessions are expected to be led by district agencies and experienced facilitators, with emphasis placed on practical strategies that can be deployed at club and community levels.

The seminar is also being framed as a critical moment for succession planning, with district leaders highlighting its role in preparing a new wave of leaders capable of steering Rotary District 206 towards greater impact and relevance.

Beyond formal training, the event aims to serve as a catalyst for fresh ideas and renewed commitment, encouraging participants to translate learning into tangible service projects that benefit communities locally and globally.

Organisers said the atmosphere of the venue and the structure of the programme are intended to create a space where purpose aligns with passion, allowing participants to refine their vision and reconnect with Rotary’s core values.
