PSG will head into the encounter at the Parc des Princes seeking another victory after their reported 4-2 win over Manchester City in their previous European outing on October 14.
Barcelona, meanwhile, have won their opening two matches, including a 4-1 away victory over Galatasaray, and will aim to maintain their perfect record against the reigning champions.
The contest will also reunite Barcelona with their former manager, Luis Enrique, who now leads the French champions.
Wednesday’s meeting between Bayern Munich and Arsenal is another major attraction, with both teams seeking to strengthen their positions in the competition.
Arsenal recorded a 3-0 victory over Lille in their previous European outing, while Bayern were held to a 3-3 draw away to Viking.
The match presents Arsenal with an opportunity to measure themselves against one of Europe’s most established clubs, while Bayern will seek a return to winning ways.
Other notable fixtures include Manchester City’s home meeting with AEK Athens, Liverpool’s clash with Villarreal and Real Madrid’s encounter with RB Leipzig.
The third round features 18 matches across Tuesday and Wednesday, with kick-off times ranging from 5:45pm to 8pm Nigerian time.
The league phase comprises eight matchdays and is scheduled to conclude in January 2027, when clubs will be competing to secure places in the knockout stage.
