Chelsea thrash West Ham 5-1 in a commanding Premier League clash at London Stadium on Friday night, delivering one of their most emphatic performances this season.

The game began with West Ham on the front foot as Lucas Paquetá fired the Hammers ahead in the 6th minute with a brilliant strike that left Robert Sánchez helpless.
But Chelsea hit back quickly. João Pedro’s glancing header in the 15th minute brought the Blues level, silencing the raucous home crowd.
West Ham thought they had regained the lead two minutes later through Niclas Füllkrug, only for VAR to rule it out for offside. That decision swung momentum firmly Chelsea’s way.
Pedro Neto then struck in the 23rd minute with a thunderous finish before Enzo Fernández coolly slotted home in the 34th minute, extending Chelsea’s lead to 3-1 before halftime.
The second half was all about the Blues’ relentless dominance. Moisés Caicedo punished a costly error from goalkeeper Mads Hermansen in the 54th minute to make it 4-1. Just four minutes later, Trevoh Chalobah added a fifth, ensuring a humiliating night for the Hammers.
Despite sparks of quality from Jarrod Bowen and Paquetá, Graham Potter’s men were simply overrun. Defenders Max Kilman and Nayef Aguerd struggled as Chelsea tore through West Ham’s backline.
