City People Magazine disassociates from a false online report alleging diaspora rejection of Awujale stool candidates
Media Techniques Limited, publishers of City People Magazine, has denied a report circulating on an online platform calling itself “The Ijebu City People.”

The report falsely claimed that a diaspora group had rejected certain high-profile candidates contesting the Awujale stool.
City People Magazine clarified that it has no knowledge of, affiliation with, or connection to the platform.
It also confirmed that it has no foreign correspondent or contributor named Ayoola Mustafa.
The disputed report, which allegedly cited consultations across Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean and referenced Omoba Remi Mosuro, did not originate from City People Magazine and does not reflect the publication’s editorial position, values, or standards.
Media Techniques Limited categorically disassociated itself from the report, describing it as false, misleading, and irresponsible.
