According to a source within the Central Bank of Nigeria, this is the case.
According to media sources, the CBN removed the N411.29/$1 exchange rate from its website’s homepage.
However, the exchange rate on the website remains $411.32, which corresponds to the rate published on the Investors and Exporters page as of Nov 08 2021.
According to reports retrieved from CBN senior official, who stated that the story of the exchange rate removal from the website is “absolutely incorrect.”
He invited people to go to the website and confirm for themselves.
