The branch chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW in Lagos State, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, has called on Muslim faithfuls to continue their exhibition of love, tolerance and compassion towards fellow human beings just as they did in the just concluded Ramadan.

Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo made this call in his congratulatory message commemorating the end of this year’s Ramadan.

In a statement made available to Freelanews, Oluomo charged everyone to continue their closeness to God and their steadfastness in the course of Allah.

“It is Ramadan that ends, our kind gestures extended to our fellow Muslims should not end. The love we show each others, how we tolerated one another must not end with this month. We should use the opportunity of our rebirth to continue our level of compassion we displayed towards each others during the holy month of Ramadan,” Akinsanya noted.

While calling on people in position of leadership to ensure equity and fairness in distribution of commonwealth, the NURTW boss ‘urged government at all levels to see to the safety of lives and properties of every Nigerians wherever they choose to live.’
