Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Group, will speak in Abuja on November 15, 2026, at the World Public Relations Forum, where he is set to address the global business climate and Africa’s economic development in a widely anticipated appearance.
Dangote to Speak at WPRF 2026 comes as Nigeria prepares to host one of the most influential gatherings of communication professionals worldwide, organised by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations in partnership with the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.

The commitment followed a high-level visit to Dangote in Lagos by a delegation led by Professor Justin Green, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Global Alliance.
Professor Justin Green described the participation as significant, noting that Dangote’s business journey across sectors such as cement, agriculture and refining offers a powerful narrative for global audiences.
“His experience and insights will resonate strongly with delegates from around the world,” Professor Justin Green said, adding that the forum presents an opportunity to exchange ideas that shape responsible communication and economic growth.
Scheduled to run from November 15 to 21, 2026, the forum will be held alongside the 37th African Public Relations Association conference under the theme Responsible Communication: The Voice of the World.
Organisers expect a strong international turnout, reinforcing Nigeria’s role as a strategic hub for dialogue on communication and development.
President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Dr Ike Neliaku, said the event offers a defining moment for the country to reposition its global narrative.
Dr Ike Neliaku stated that preparations were progressing steadily and that stakeholders across sectors were aligning efforts to deliver a landmark edition.
“This is an opportunity for Nigeria to tell its own story and influence global conversations,” Dr Ike Neliaku said, describing the planned gathering as potentially the biggest and boldest in the forum’s history.
The Federal Government has also pledged support. Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, gave assurances in Abuja during a recent engagement with organisers, signalling official backing for the international event.
Beyond the main sessions, the visit to Dangote forms part of a broader series of strategic engagements aimed at securing participation from influential voices.
Observers note that the inclusion of business leaders like Dangote adds depth to discussions, bridging communication practice with real economic impact.
