Recounting the experience in his own words, Davido said, “I met my wife in Babcock, I remember the day I saw her, I was in a Prado, I looked behind and I saw her walking and it was Chioma, I told Lati I like that girl I told him to call her but she snubbed me. Later on she came to Lagos and then we linked up.”
Davido said he attempted to reach out through a mutual acquaintance, but Chioma Adeleke did not respond at the time. Davido described the experience as an early setback that did not diminish his interest.
