Deeluh expands legal tech offering across Africa

Deeluh, led in operations by Roseline Isibor, Head of Operations at Deeluh, is expanding its legal technology offering across Africa and beyond as law firms increasingly explore digital tools to manage complex administrative and operational demands.

The expansion, announced on Friday, October 2, 2026, centres on a unified platform designed to bring client management, matters, documents, billing, reporting and other workflows into one connected environment.

The move comes as legal practice becomes increasingly intertwined with technology, particularly in areas such as research, drafting, case management and routine administration.

In Nigeria, legal technology adoption has been developing across both established firms and newer technology companies, although practitioners continue to weigh the benefits of automation against concerns around reliability, confidentiality and professional oversight.

Deeluh’s proposition is focused less on replacing legal expertise and more on organising the operational side of practice around a single system.

The company says its platform provides centralised management tools alongside reporting and operational insights intended to give firm leadership clearer visibility into how their practices are functioning.

AI is also incorporated into the wider workflow. Deeluh says its AI-powered support is intended to help legal professionals work more efficiently while leaving legal judgement with practitioners.

For Isibor, that distinction is central to the company’s vision.

“Deeluh transforms legal operations from complex and fragmented into simple, structured, and efficient,” Isibor said, outlining the platform’s approach to the changing needs of modern law firms.

The challenge Deeluh is targeting is familiar across professional services.

Lawyers may have to move between separate systems for client information, matter tracking, documentation, billing, reporting and internal coordination.

When those processes are disconnected, administrative work can consume time that would otherwise be devoted to substantive legal work.

Deeluh’s model seeks to reduce that fragmentation by placing those functions within a single workspace.

The company says the approach can help firms establish greater structure and visibility while reducing some of the administrative workload associated with running a practice.

That proposition arrives at a time when Nigerian legal technology is becoming more diverse.

In February 2026, Techpoint Africa reported that Modulaw AI had combined legal research, case management and client collaboration tools, while developing further capabilities for contract management.

The company had onboarded 28 law firms since launching its paid product in August 2025, illustrating the growing presence of dedicated technology platforms within the country’s legal market.

Larger established firms are also experimenting with AI.

Olaniwun Ajayi announced in August 2025 that it had become the first law firm in Nigeria and West Africa to roll out Harvey AI, describing the technology as a tool for improving workflow, collaboration and legal analysis.

The wider trend, however, is not simply about putting more AI into legal practice.

A 2026 legal-sector analysis noted that Nigerian lawyers are increasingly using technology for drafting, automation and research, while caution around accuracy, cost, reliability and professional responsibility continues to shape adoption.

The Nigerian Bar Association’s 2024 AI guidelines also emphasise that technology should support rather than replace professional judgement.

This distinction is particularly significant for platforms such as Deeluh.

Law firms deal with confidential client information, sensitive documents and decisions carrying legal consequences, meaning efficiency cannot be separated from appropriate human supervision and responsible handling of information.

Against that background, Deeluh is positioning its expansion as part of a broader effort to contribute to a more technology-enabled legal ecosystem across Africa.

The company also wants its platform to serve firms operating beyond the continent as cross-border transactions, international clients and distributed teams create more complex operational requirements.

Its stated philosophy is captured in the phrase, “Less Admin. More Legal Work.”

The idea is that technology should simplify the business of running a law firm while preserving the professional expertise, judgement and relationships that remain central to legal practice.

For law firms, the potential impact therefore extends beyond having another software tool.

A genuinely connected practice-management system can affect how information is organised, how teams collaborate, how leaders monitor operations and how quickly routine administrative tasks are completed.

Deeluh’s expansion does not, by itself, establish how widely the platform is currently being used or quantify the operational gains achieved by its customers.

The announcement provides no customer numbers, revenue figures or independent performance measurements.

Those details will be important as the company seeks to demonstrate how its technology performs across different legal markets.

What the expansion does signal is a determined push into a legal sector that is becoming increasingly receptive to digital infrastructure.

With law firms facing pressure to manage growing volumes of information while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and professional judgement, the next phase of legal technology is likely to involve not only AI-assisted legal work but also the systems that organise the business behind it.

For Deeluh, the ambition is to make that business more connected, structured and efficient, while keeping lawyers at the centre of the work.
