He described the painting as a message of hope for Nigerians and the African continent.
Alaba, who refused to disclose the theme of the painting, revealed that it was created by 37 different painters representing the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
He also disclosed that the inspiration for the portrait was from portraits of former United States President Barack Obama and Queen Elizabeth.
The President had earlier delivered the 2024 Democracy Day speech to the nation, addressing a variety of issues affecting the country.
Tinubu, who pledged to implement democracy as Nigerians’ way of life, urged Nigerians not to be wary and to be hopeful for a better future.
The President revealed that a consensus had been reached on the long-debated new minimum wage between the Federal Government and organised labour.
He also revealed that an executive bill will soon be sent to the National Assembly to formalise the new minimum wage agreement.
