Beauty entrepreneur says fallout with former friend became a distressing public dispute
Beauty entrepreneur and reality TV personality Diadem Adeola has accused her former friend and colleague, Dabota Lawson, of allegedly using bloggers to damage her reputation following the breakdown of their relationship.

Diadem made the allegations in a series of posts shared on Snapchat, where she claimed that private issues arising from the fallout were subsequently made public through blogs.
According to the entrepreneur, the situation became particularly painful when a blog published photographs of her daughter.
“I felt like a failed parent when I saw my daughter’s face on that dirty blog,” Diadem wrote, describing the publication as a deeply distressing experience.
She did not identify the specific blog or provide evidence that Lawson personally supplied the information published about her.
The allegations therefore remain claims made by Diadem.
The reality TV personality went on to allege that involving bloggers in personal disputes was not an isolated occurrence.
“Every time you fall out with someone, it seems like your first instinct is to use bloggers to tear them down,” she alleged.
Diadem said she had spent years building her business and public image and was determined not to allow the controversy surrounding the friendship breakdown to undermine that work.
The entrepreneur acknowledged that she and Lawson had experienced disagreements but indicated that she wanted the dispute to end rather than continue playing out publicly.
“Get my name off your mouth Dabota Lawson and leave me alone,” she wrote.
The remarks point to an increasingly strained relationship between the two personalities, who had previously been associated professionally and socially.
For Diadem, however, the publication of her daughter’s photograph appears to have been a particularly sensitive moment, shifting the dispute beyond questions concerning the two women themselves.
The allegations also highlight the growing tension that can arise when private disagreements involving public figures spill onto entertainment blogs and social media, where personal disputes can quickly attract wider attention.

Lawson had not, at the time of publication, publicly responded to Diadem’s latest allegations.
