An audio has surfaced detailing the reason terrorists were able to successfully launch an attack that allegedly left three soldiers wounded and eight personnel killed.

Recall that gunmen recently attacked three units of the Nigerian army deployed to stand guard at a law school in Abuja when the school received letter of imminent attack from the terrorists.

The units were 177 and 102 from Keffi with one causality each, and 7 Guards Battalion of the Nigerian Army Presidential Guards Brigade with four causalities, while the terrorists lost twelves of their members.

According to an audio clip made available to Freelanews, one of the injured soldiers currently receiving treatments at the National Hospital, Abuja, has narrated that the attack was an ambush that Nigerian army erroneously walked into.

“This is the real story of what happened and any other narrative different from this is a lie,” the yet to be identified soldier said.

Listen above.

You can watch videos of distraught Nigerians below during one of the harrowing nights of terror attacks in Abuja recently.
